Marcus Wayne Goforth was born October 12, 1996, in Tulsa, OK, to Mary Dawn Brewster & Joseph Goforth. He departed this life on Thursday, December 6, 2012, in Peggs, OK at the age of 16 years, 1 months, and 25 days.
Marcus attended Locust Grove schools. He was of the Baptist faith. Marcus enjoyed hunting & fishing, but most of all enjoyed time spent with his family & friends.
Marcus is survived by: his mother: Mary Dawn Brewster & step-father Robert of Welch, OK; his father: Joseph Goforth of Eufaula, OK; 3 brothers: Matthew D. Nichols & Mickey R. Nichols, both of Welch, OK; & Joseph Goforth Jr., of Oolagah, OK; 3 sisters: Kari F. Nichols, Melody L. Presscott, & Delaney Brewster all of Welch, OK; Grandfather: Larry LeForce Sr. of Jay, OK; Step-grandmother: Vicki Ogden of Jay, OK; Grandmother: Carol Goforth of Locust Grove, OK. Marcus was preceded in death by: Grandmother: Mary H. LeForce; Grandfather: Tommy Goforth; 2 brothers: David W. Nichols & Jonathan “Rocky” Nichols; & 1 cousin: Katelynn LeForce.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at the Locust Grove Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Donnie LeForce will officiate. Interment will follow at the New Home Cemetery in Peggs, OK. Services have been entrusted to the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
Visitation: 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., Monday, December 10, 2012 & 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 11, 2012 Family to receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
