She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She helped raise her younger siblings after the death of her mother in 1949. Our mother was loved by all who crossed her path. She loved her family and friends and especially enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, cooking, sewing and crafting. If you went to her house and you left hungry it was your own fault and if she knew you were coming, she would prepare your favorite dish. She was a retired Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) in Idabel, OK and loved her border collie “Oreo”.
She will be missed by her family who enjoyed her unconditional love and all those who ever ate one of her home cooked meals, enjoyed her southern hospitality, her birthday cards or special gifts. She was the number one fan of the KKBI “Swap Shop” radio show in Idabel, OK.
